Labour Hire

Labour and equipment can be mobilized as part of a complete scaffold management package. Alternatively, we can provide specialist managers, inspectors, supervisors, leading hands and scaffolders to supplement your existing team or during shut-downs. Work teams are mobile and flexible. Directed by experienced supervisors and leading hands, teams can move from site to site and be increased and decreased to suit the projects demands.

Training and Competency

Training Needs Analysis

Scaffolding Management Services has conducted a training needs analysis for its employees and staff based on current business and will continue to review the analysis as and when its business alters.

The results of the analysis are entered into the Company Training Matrix.

During the recruitment process for new personnel verification of current skills and competency is conducted to complete an accurate gap analysis for the new personnel for inclusion into the Company Training Matrix.

Induction

SMS Contracting Pty Ltd has developed an Induction, records of which are recorded in the Company Training Register.

The company inducts new employees using the Company Safety Manual.

SMS record qualifications and training of all personnel including specific "site based" inductions the Site Training Matrix. All expiry dates are logged into the Company Training Matrix to enable identification of the need for revalidate. This is monitored weekly by the main office Administrator in line with QA requirements.

Training Matrix

The Company Training Matrix is maintained as an electronic form and is updated as records of induction are verified and as new personnel are engaged this allows for easy identification of training needs.
